Het thema van januari is: Gothic Novel. Er waren vier opties die jullie hebben aangedragen: Jane Eyre van Charlotte Brontë, The Haunting of Hill House van Shirley Jackson, Wide Sargasso Sea van Jean Rhys en Rebecca van Daphne du Maurier. De laatste kreeg de meeste stemmen.

In het Engels is dit boek goed verkrijgbaar, zowel in paperback als e-boek. Er is een audioboek op Storytel beschikbaar, maar dit is een verkorte versie, waarmee je dus niet de planning kunt volgen zoals hierboven aangegeven.
De vertaling wordt op 12 december opnieuw uitgegeven door Uitgeverij Geus. Dit is hier te vinden. Via de Nederlandse online bibliotheek kun je het e-boek vinden.
